Welcome to New England Landscape Paintings by Sheila Psaledas. At this site you'll find many landscapes of New England including coastal New Hampshire (Rye, Greenland/Great Bay area , and Ordiorne Point), seascapes of Maine's Acadia region, and Plum Island, Massachusetts.

The rural and coastal areas of New England have always fascinated me and inspired my works.  My choice of palette is determined by atmosphere, temperature, textures and quality of light. Each of the four seasons here in New England are fascinating and inspire my work. Recently, my style has developed toward a more painterly approach, with stronger directional strokes and vibrant colors. Look for my newest works coming soon to this website. I am influenced by Wolf Khan, and landscape painters of the late 1800's to 1900's.
